We are offering some stud Angus cattle pregnant to stud Angus bulls (CP 14-7705/WAF 13-128) as well as commercial Angus cattle pregnant to stud Boran bulls (Hustler VST 13-35, Juice VST 13-59, Jungle VST 13-102). These are top cows where all heifers on the farm have been selected using a combination of the weaning index, percentage of mother weaned and ICP to keep only the best heifers every year.
There are also three sets of commercial F1 (Boran X Angus) females that are pregnant to an Angus stud bull (LOTS 100, 101, 102). The three parcels are 2015 heifers, 2014 2nd calvers and 2013 3rd calvers.
The mothers are all F1 (Boran X Angus) and all the calves born will be 25% Boran and 75% Angus.
These are my preferred commercial animals on the farm. Enough hardiness to keep the maintenance and feed costs low an enough growth and adult size to be acceptable to the feedlots.
