Thank you to everyone who attended the 2022 Vastrap Auction and who contributed to the success of the day. After all the stress caused by the last minute foot & mouth lockdown in the days leading up to the auction, it was amazing to see so many people travel from far and wide to be with us in person. It really means so much to us and is a true testament to the solidarity of the Boran community. It was special to mark our 10th Auction in our new farm shed and we are grateful to the OVK livestock team who worked hard to make the new set up work smoothly.
We especially loved the fellowship and fun on the night before the auction. It is always a pleasure to host fellow breeders in our home at Vastrap and to have an opportunity to get to know everyone more personally in a relaxed environment and to have some fun around the bar!
We also received huge support online through the SwitVee platform. Thanks to great efforts by the SwiftVee team our comms all ran smoothly and our online bidders added a huge amount to the success of the auction! All we can say is thank you, thank you, thank you! We hope that you enjoyed the day and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
