    1. Hi William, thank you for all your comments and enquiries. We are about 400km from Johannesburg so total distance from Gabarone to us is probably between 800 and 900km. You are welcome to visit any time!

  1. Hi i am looking for 10 heifers to cross with my brahman bull how much would they cost if you have, if not i would settle for 10 pregnant cows. i am in mozambique would thiss breed be suited to a hot tropical climate

    1. Hi Armando, thanks for getting in touch with us. The Boran and Brahman are very similar in terms of their adaptability to African conditions (climate and diseases). The Boran, in my opinion are much more functional and easier to work with so they should do very well in Mozambique.
Pure registered Boran females are very expensive at the moment because they are very sought after. I’m having my annual auction on 18 August on my farm where there will be about 45 females ranging from heifers to cows on offer. The starting price for pregnant heifers will be about R15 000. This will be your best bet to get pure Boran females. Because of my sale I do not have other animals to sell out of hand at the moment.
      Best regards,
      Quentin
