Thank you to everyone who supported the 2nd Annual Vastrap Auction. We had a great day and really enjoyed hosting everyone who came from near and far to be with us. Thank you also to our partners in the auction, Stephen and Debbie Johnson (Frontier Boran), Keith Peinke (Peinke Ranch), Burnie Staal (Bos Blanco) and Paul Pienaar (Bar Circle) who once again helped to make this one of the premier auctions in the Boran calendar.
The top priced cow was Jackie MHB 07-32 (Jackie 05-08 x Caesar) which was sold for R140’000 and the top priced bull was Zappa VST 11-03 (Zelma HOT 07-09 x Khan) which sold for R60’000. The top priced heifer was Shakira PRB 13-10 for R110’000.
