The ODETTE bloodline derives its name from the white swan in Swan Lake. ODETTE hails from KPO 1698, a white polled cow from Ol Pejeta in Kenya whose genetics are exclusive to Mollshoop Boran.

K6K 3094, probably the most famous white bull out of Kenya from Moogwoni was used as the sole sire to establish the ODETTE bloodline at Mollshoop. Only three animals were born from this pairing, namely Odette MHB 05-05, Odette MHB 05-17 and Ollie MHB 05-13. Odette MHB 05-05 was the highest priced animal at the 2012 Showcase Auction (R110 000). This line flushes well in the 15-25 embryo range.

Odette MHB 11-82 (Odette MHB 05-17 x Khan MHB 04-27) is a particularly attractive looking red heifer. The Odette line also combines very well with Impie MHB 04-10.
Ollie MHB 05-13 (KPO 1698 x K6K 3094) is a solid medium-framed bull. His outstanding features are his head, width over the back and good sheath.
