Husky MHB 07-09 (Voorslag TLM 02-03 x Hope MHB 04-11) is currently the main stud sire at Vastrap. He hails from the herd matriarch, Hope MHB 04-11 (KPO 786 x K6K 2205) from the Granddam K6K 2205 (see The HOPE bloodline). Hope MHB 04-11 is a near perfect polled white Boran cow with an awesome temperament, capacity and the best polled head in the business. She has bred several top bulls.
In Husky, one has a combination of both K6K 2459 from their sire and 786 from the mother both carrying the polled gene. Husky is a very impressive looking grey bull and a real work horse. He is physically perfect in the image of his mother with width, depth, a perfect sheath, strong legs and his mother’s strong head. In the group of 2013 bulls, Husky’s offspring have the best performance – better than Khan or Rustin.
